In pictures: Jewish Care spook-tacular!
Jewish Care heralded its most “spectacular Halloween party yet” this week after 600 people donned a selection of ghoulish and grisly costumes on Saturday night, raising more than £15,000 for the charity.
The event, which had sold out a week previously, was organised by The Rock Committee and Young Jewish Care, and was held at The Gable in Moorgate, with Jewish News as media sponsor.
“It was not only a great party but a brilliant opportunity for the young community to come out to support amazing work,” said Kelly Landesberg, chair of the Rock Committee. “The money raised will help the charity’s vital work with Holocaust survivors. I feel proud and honoured to chair such a wonderful committee and I want to thank everyone who was involved for making this a night to remember.”
