In Pictures: JNF UK calling… 4,000 times!
A record-breaking 4,000 supporters were contacted in JNF UK’s annual telethon appeal. More than 100 volunteers took to the phones for the 30th annual Green Sunday event for a frenetic day of fundraising. Money raised will go towards helping schools, colleges and youth in Israel’s south. Of the volunteers, the youngest was aged 11, while the oldest donor was 93. Alan Aziz, CEO of JNF UK, said “Our donors welcomed our volunteers’ calls – many spoke of their fondness for JNF UK and the opportunity we give them to make a difference in Israeli society.”
