In pictures: NIF awards welcomes 400 guests
New Israel Fund UK welcomed more than 400 guests to the ninth annual NIF Human Rights Awards Dinner in Covent Garden. The event commemorated the 20th anniversary of the assassination of former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, with the guest of honour being his son Yuval, who spoke movingly about his father’s legacy of peace and co-existence. This year’s awards celebrated the work of three exceptional Israeli leaders who dedicate their lives to advancing a diverse, tolerant and shared society. Jeanie Horowitz, chairman of the NIF Human Rights Awards Committee described them as “truly inspirational”.
