In pictures: Nightingale raises £1million
More than 500 Nightingale Hammerson supporters gathered at the City’s Guildhall for the charity’s biennial fundraising dinner. Distinguished guests including Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis and Lord and Lady Dyson heard from guest speaker Lord Mendelsohn, who spoke about his personal experience with the care charity. Minister for Care, Alastair Burt MP, recorded a video message, praising Nightingale Hammerson’s work, caring ethos and model of community involvement. Guests donated more than £1million. Mendelsohn added: “It has been an honour to see the wonderful work Nightingale Hammerson does.”
