Israel activists face arrest after failing to appear at hearing
Damien Lenszner and Jonathan Hoffman did not attend Westminster Magistrates’ Court to answer charges
Two prominent pro-Israel activists face an arrest warrant after failing to appear at a court hearing this week, according to a media report.
Damon Lenszner and Jonathan Hoffman did not appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, where they were due to answer charges on Monday, the Jewish Chronicle reported.
Lenszner was charged with assault by beating, while Hoffman was charged with common assault and using threatening words and behaviour, according to the newspaper.
Hoffman claimed in a blog entry that he never received a summons letter.
