Meerkat app to stream Israeli embassy’s new weekly media review
The Israeli embassy in London this week used the column inches from Israel’s election to launch its weekly online media review.
Diplomats launched the live video broadcast initiative with a six-minute overview of election coverage in Britain from Press spokesman Yiftah Curiel.
Speaking to camera from inside the embassy, and using the innovative Israeli Meerkat app to live stream it, Curiel outlined how each newspaper covered the election both before and after, outlining their various different angles and influences.
The Embassy will post new weekly video features through its Facebook page.
