Israeli fintech lists on London Stock Exchange in landmark IPO

iForex is the first Israeli company to go public in London this year

An Israeli fintech company made its debut on the London Stock Exchange today, the first Israeli firm to float in London this year.

Shares in iFOREX Financial Trading Holdings Ltd began trading on the Main Market under the symbol IFRX, marking what executives described as a significant milestone in the company’s 25-year history.

Founded in 1996, iFOREX develops and operates a proprietary electronic trading platform enabling clients to trade a range of financial instruments, including foreign exchange and multi-asset contracts for difference (CFDs). The company serves customers in more than 30 countries through web and mobile platforms.

Chief Executive Itai Sadeh said the listing would support the company’s next phase of growth.

“Listing on the London Stock Exchange marks a significant milestone for iFOREX. Access to public markets will allow us to remain focused on global expansion and continued platform innovation to deliver lasting value to clients and shareholders,” he said.

The IPO was advised by international law firm BCLP, whose deal team was led by partners Jonathan Morris and Tom Bacon.

Morris described the flotation as “a watershed moment for the company”, adding: “We are delighted to have advised iFOREX on their landmark London IPO and are excited to accompany them on the next stage of their journey.”

Senior figures at the Exchange also welcomed the listing.

Michal Freeman-Shor, Head of Primary Markets, Israel at the London Stock Exchange said: “We are delighted to welcome iFOREX to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange today. London is the most international market in the world, connecting ambitious companies with investors, and supporting innovation and growth. Congratulations to the iFOREX team on their successful listing.”

Thom Abbott, Head of SE Asia, Primary Markets at the London Stock Exchange, posted on LinkedIn: “Great to watch along as iFOREX mark a major milestone with their IPO ceremony in London today.

“Strong signal to see a 25+ year old FinTech looking to London to raise capital and accelerate their global expansion.

“Congratulations to the iFOREX team and to all the advisors who helped make this happen.”

The flotation comes as London seeks to reinvigorate its capital markets and attract international technology and fintech listings, while Israeli companies increasingly look to overseas exchanges for deeper pools of capital and global investor reach.

For Israel’s tech ecosystem, the listing signals continued confidence in UK markets despite wider geopolitical and economic headwinds and highlights the growing maturity of Israeli financial technology firms expanding beyond start-up phase into established, revenue-generating public companies.
