Tap-dancing Rebbetzin performs nine London shows in four days
A tap-dancing Jewish performer from Israel has earned the right to put her feet up after a whirlwind tour of London where she put on nine concerts in four days for children in five different schools.
Kerry Bar-Cohn, better known as ‘Rebbetzin Tap,’ was performing for Adar, the Jewish month synonymous with ‘simcha’ (increasing happiness), and the interactive nature of her shows means the kids were up on stage tapping away too.
Audiences of children, from pre-school through high school ages, saw her show at Lubavitch at Stamford Hill, Little Bicks Nursery Schools, Beis Yaakov Primary, Independent Jewish Day School and Sinai Jewish Primary School.
Mrs. Helen Friedman, principal of Lubavitch Senior Girls School, said: “It was a rockin’ session. Our girls loved every minute of it.”
