Israelis handed Armenian ties in Euro draws
Israel’s trio of European sides have found out who they’ll face in the early rounds of next season’s European competitions.
In the Champions League second qualifying round draw, Maccabi Tel Aviv will face Armenian opposition in either FC Santa Coloma or FC Banants. The ties will be played on 15/16 July, with the return on 22/23 July. The first leg will be played in Israel.
In the second qualifying round draw for the Europa League, Hapoel Beer Sheva FC were drawn agaisnt either Croatian side or Armenian FC Mika. Hapoel Tel-Aviv could also face Armenian opposition after they were drawn to face either FC Pyunik, or Kazakstan’s FC Astana. The two-legged ties will be played on 17 & 24 July.
