J-Street survey shows growing ‘crisis’ in US-Israel ties
In the week that US Secretary of State John Kerry met Benjamin Netanyahu, a poll commissioned by an American Jewish group appears to show a growing “crisis” in US-Israel ties.
The J-Street survey, commissioned last month and covering some 600 people, revealed more than six out of 10 respondents thought that relations between the two allies had reached “crisis” point.
The same number thought Netanyahu’s right-wing government has “harmed” relations between the allies, while just over half opposed settlement expansion.
