Jets secure high-powered finish
Youngsters end season by winning Watford Friendly League U12 Spring Plate.
North West London Jets finished off their season by beating Hadley Wood and Wingate Eagles 2-1 to lift the Watford Friendly League U12 Spring Plate.
Yoni Marcus scored to put them ahead against the run of play, but the Eagles equalised ten minutes from time to take the match to extra-time. Goalkeeper Gilad Solomon kept them on level terms, before top scorer Daniel Attar netted the winner five minutes from time.
Manager Zvi Wohlgemuth said: “It was a great team performance, they also played well, which contributed to the great atmosphere present throughout the match.”
