A Jewish American social-media creator has claimed in a video that he and his fiancée were sent death threats by a Scottish student – and that he has reported the incident to the police, the student’s university and his employer.

Posting under the TikTok handle dachen158ty, the creator said the message came via Instagram direct message from a user he identified as Kai Pesione. He said the sender warned him not to leave his home because “something is waiting for me.”

In the video, the creator read our parts of the exchange: “Oh yes, I have you mapped out.” When he replied, “Well, I’m flying tomorrow. You’re going to get me at the airport?”, he said the sender responded: “What’s coming to you is beyond words.” He added that the sender also threatened his fiancée by name, writing: “Protect Emily at all costs as well, Peter Griffin.”

The creator said he traced the sender’s real identity within “about 30 seconds” and then messaged the student’s family members on Facebook, posting the threats to their pages and asking, ‘Is that something they’re cool with?” He said he refrained from publishing the student’s personal details to avoid accusations of doxxing.

Jewish American creator dachen158ty speaks in a TikTok video describing alleged death threats he says came from a Scottish student.

Because the sender lives in the UK, he said, the legal situation is different. “In the UK, online death threats are punishable by two to seven years in prison,” he said, adding that he had contacted the local police in Scotland, who “assured me they will be speaking with him shortly.” He also said the dean of the student’s university had agreed to a Zoom meeting later this week and that the student’s employer had responded to his report.

The creator said he received frequent online abuse but that the threats against his fiancée prompted him to act. “When he threatened my fiancée, he seriously f***ed up,” he said. “If you want to argue and debate with somebody, I’m all for that… but when it rises to the level of threatening to murder me and my fiancée, I’m going to do everything I can to ruin your f***ing life.”

He concluded the video by saying he would not publish the student’s personal details publicly but wanted “everyone in that life – your mother, your father, your grandparents, your siblings, your children, your friends – to be exactly aware of the type of psychopath you are.”
