—————————————————-
GOALKEEPER
Dan Kosky (Faithfold B) – Widely touted as being the best goalkeeper in the Division, and one of the best in the League, produced some terrific stops to keep the score down
DEFENCE
Avi Korman (Hendon United A) – Has been immense all season for Hendon and was easily their stand-out player on Sunday
Gavriel Nussbaum (Shacharit Donetsk) – Captain not only defended brilliantly, but also led by example, galvanising the team
Jon Dubiner (Temple Fortune) – Magnificent for Fortune at the heart of defence, won practically every tackle, header and almost popped up with a winner
Josh Pistol (NL Raiders A) – Has taken to his new position like a duck to water, bombed forward at every opportunity and negated any threat from Greg Corin
MIDFIELD:
James Gold (London Maccabi Lions Blue) – Ran riot down the wings and it was no surprise he claimed three assists
Alex Kaye (Faithfold A) – Rock-solid in the middle of the park, was pivotal in ensuring Greens manager Zuriel Solomon bowed out with a win
Charlie Kasner (Maccabi London Lions Spartans) – Man-of-the-match for Lions. Scored one, won penalty for another and was sheer brilliance throughout
Liron Mannie (NL Raiders A) – Put in an excellent shift down the right flank and caused Hendon problems throughout
ATTACK:
Matt Frohlich (Brady Maccabi) – Quite brilliant performance up top for the Brady boys, scored four times, Brixton defence simply couldn’t cope with him
Barry Green (Real Sosobad) – Impeccable performance. Constant threat and rewarded with three goals including a stunning volley from the edge of the area
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Charlie Kasner (Maccabi London Lions Spartans)
MANAGER OF THE WEEK:
Zuriel Solomon (Faithfold A)
