GOALKEEPER:
David Simnock (NL Raiders B) – Was flawless as he pulled off several super saves to keep a clean sheet
DEFENCE:
Scott McKenzie (Redbridge B) – Superb at left-back, strong defensively and always a threat going the other way
Grant Bates (L’Equipe) – Was simply outstanding, won every header, challenge and led the line like his hero Richard Dunne
Elliot Jackson (Oakwood A) – Stepped in and stepped up to the mark, gave a really solid performance at centre-back, in what was his first appearance for the A’s this season.
Adam Newman (Scrabble) – Gave a massive defensive performance, highlighted by how the game changed once he was forced off with an injury
MIDFIELD:
Daniel Seligman (Oakwood B) – Made not have got on the scoresheet, but put in a smart performance at both left-back and centre-midfield
Yehuda Korman (Hendon A) – Slowly but surely finding his best form – put in an excellent all-round skillful performance
Harry Moss (Mill Hill Dons) – Dropped back into midfield and controlled the game throughout. Won numerous tackles and played several inch-perfect passes
Ben Ellis (NL Raiders A) – A super individual performance, back to full fitness and showed his quality. Scored two and created three
ATTACK:
Jeff Gotch (Catford & Bromley) – Player-manager led by example, his hat-trick – including a stunning third – earning the Cats a point
Richard Fogelman (Faithfold B) – Scored four despite playing through an injury, another display of him being at his clinical best
PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Grant Bates (L’Equipe)
MANAGER OF THE WEEK:
Nicholas Stern (L’Equipe)
