GOALKEEPER
Oliver Burchell (Mill Hill Dons) – Couldn’t have hoped for a better debut, saved several shots from point-blank range in what was a very good performance
DEFENDERS:
Alex Lewis – (Los Blancos) Superb performance, constantly attacking and scored a superb half-volley from the edge of the area to get his side’s opening goal
Josh Cinna (Mill Hill Dons) – Instrumental to a very strong defensive performance, made some crucial challenges and brought the ball out from the back with ease.
Ed Brafman (Maccabi London Lions Blue) – Stopped everything that came his way, including a goal-saving goal-line clearance with his head
Johnny Schogger (Hertswood Vale) – Put in an industrious performance, won challenge after challenge, played a huge role in a much-deserved clean sheet
MIDFIELDERS:
Lorian Madanes (Scrabble) – Silky skills and looked superb as the playmaker setting up numerous chances
Dovi Vogel (Faithfold A) – Worked tirelessly to shut down every ball, before going on to start the attacks
David Esterkin (NL Raiders B) – Making his return from a year out with injury, gave the team real impetus in their comprehensive win
Dan Seligman (Oakwood A) – Continued his excellent start to the season with a very impressive performance on the right wing
STRIKERS:
Ben Kaye (NL Raiders C) – Was simply unplayable, helped himself to five goals and was an absolute handful to Faithfold’s beleaguered defence
Lolu Hibbert (Real Hendon) – Bounced from a poor start last week, to help himself to a hat-trick, secured the game with a delightful 35-yard chip over the goalkeeper
PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Ben Kaye (NL Raiders C)
MANAGER OF THE WEEK:
Samuel Marchant (Maccabi London Lions Blue)
