GOALKEEPER
Yaacov Goldin (Hendon United C) – Made several superb stops during the 90 minutes, then saved four penalties in epic shoot-out. Only blot in his copybook was missing a penalty himself!
DEFENCE
Andy Cohen (Norstar Raiders C) – Playing on the other side of the pitch to usual, he played with calmness and assurance and made some vital challenges.
Ben Grabiner (AC Mill Hill) – A lion at the heart of Mill Hill’s defence, integral in the Division Two’s side epic Cup win over the Lions in the upset of the day
Josh Pistol (Norstar London Raiders A) – Outstanding in neutralising the threat of both Mike Pearson, and then Jonny Haik, in the top-of-the-table Premier Division clash
Ben Retter (King Crown) – Simply outstanding, described as a pleasure to watch, and playing like Terry Butcher, was the undoubted Man-of-the-Match
MIDFIELD:
David Newman (Brady Maccabi B) – Capped an excellent debut with a goal to drive his side on to victory at chase lodge.
Chaim Gothold (Hendon United B) – Another top performance in the centre of the park, from a player who has been getting fitter with each week
Danny Hakimi (Redbridge A) – Brilliant performance in the heart of midfield, as Redbridge knocked out Peter Morrison Cup holders in their own back yard
Ashley Ilsen (Faithfold B) – Starring performance in midfield for the Greens, capped off by him scoring a wonder strike, which was his first goal for the club
ATTACK:
Dan Cohen (AC Whetstone) – May have been on the losing side, but17-year-old never stopped running. Gave everything and scored a wonder strike
Richard Salmon (FC Team A) – Back to his imperious best as he scored four times in emphatic Cup win
