—————————————————-
GOALKEEPER
Tony Hirschstein (Temple Fortune) – May have been on the losing side, but pulled off several top-class saves to keep the score down
DEFENCE
Avishai Kestenbaum (Hendon United A) – Played as emergency left-back and was faultless throughout
Oliver Segal (FC Team B) – Stepped into center back position and was outstanding throughout the 90 minutes
Aron Luftig (London Rovers) – Filling in for the second week and took complete control at the back. Opposition strikers didn’t have a sniff at goal.
Gavriel Nussbaum (Shacharit Donetsk) – Part of a defensively strong Donetsk side which claimed an impressive win over the Lions
MIDFIELD:
Rafi Marom (Blizzard Storm) – Finding his feet in the Storm midfield, worked hard throughout and created a lot of chances
Marc Woolfe (Norstar London Raiders C) – Ran the game with his excellent range of passing and calmness on the ball and also claimed an outstanding assist
Josh Jacobs (Real Sosobad) – Ran the game, his best performance of the season by miles. Was completely unselfish and made a great interception which led to Sosobad’s opening goal
Adam Arnold (North West Neasden) – Scored twice, tormented Woodford for 90 minutes with a superb display of trickery and work rate
ATTACK:
Dan Gordon (Faithfold B) – ‘Flash’ was just that up front, causing all manner of problems for the Fortune defence and deservedly helping himself to a hat-trick
Matt Stock (Norstar London Raiders A) – A hat-trick inside the first half an hour and gave the Faithfold defence the run around all morning
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Marc Woolfe (Norstar London Raiders C)
MANAGER OF THE WEEK:
Zack Gothelf (Norstar London Raiders C)
