GOALKEEPER
Richard Cooper (Temple Fortune) – Reserve goalkeeper kept Fortune’s first clean sheet of the season as he pulled off numerous saves during the 90 minutes
DEFENCE
Parys Hammond (London Rovers) – Won absolutely everything at the heart of the Rovers defence and got a kick in the face for his trouble
Dan Ailon (Oakwood A) – Had a brilliant game against one of the league’s top strikers in James Gershfield, gave him very little throughout
David Rhodes (Norstar London Raiders A) – Commanding performance at centre-back. Led his team strongly and dealt with any threat that Lions had to offer
Ricky Shafier (FC Team B) – Travelled from South London and was excellent up and down the right including two assists
MIDFIELD:
Jason Shoffman (AC Mill Hill) – Ran the game in the first half and created several chances with some unbelievable energy and driving runs
Ben Lauffer (Hendon United A) – Was only half fit but still ran the show with a superbly creative midfield performance
Avi Mocton (Hendon United B) – Gave assured performance for Hendon in the middle of the park and set them on road to victory by netting their opener
Sam Reeves (Faithfold A) – Brilliant performance for the Greens in midfield, played a starring role in their thrilling win over Woodford
ATTACK:
Ethan Davis (AC Whetstone) – Came on in a forward midfield role to give the Oakwood back four a torrid time. Turned the tide of the game in Whetstone’s favour as youngsters went on to claim win
Adam Stolerman (FC Team C) – Brilliant performance up front, constant threat, but display slightly tarnished by also missing a penalty
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dan Ailon (Oakwood A)
MANAGER OF THE WEEK:
Jeremy Brown (London Rovers)
