JEWnior Chef: West London Synagogue seeks young cooks!
West London Synagogue is offering young wannabe chefs aged between 12 and 16 years the chance to learn from world-famous mentors in their own version of Masterchef.
The competition, called JEWnior Chef, will see 16 shortlisted candidates do battle in the kitchen across two heats in March, before eight of the best go through to the final in May.
Contestant Sam Lewis, 16, who is enrolling in an apprenticeship at the world-renowned Le Gavroche restaurant, said: “I can’t wait to show my skills to the judges.” Sponsor Tony Page said: “It will inspire budding young chefs and give them the opportunity to learn from mentors.”
