Josh returns with national gold win
Joshua Newman made a triumphant return to the trampoline when he won gold at last weekend’s national competition, which saw him qualify for September’s British Championships.
Returning to action from a long-term back injury which plagued his 2014 season, he ran out a convincing winner.
He said: “I’m very pleased with my overall performance and to make qualification at the first event takes all the pressure off me. I’m feeling very positive and confident, though my GCSE exam period is coming up so that’s where the pressure is!”
