Journalist helps college raise £5,000 in memory of Rabbi Lionel Blue

Journalist and author John Kampfner helped Leo Baeck College to raise almost £5,000 by delivering its annual lecture in memory of the late Rabbi Lionel Blue.
With guests watching in person and via Zoom, Kampfner entertained in conversation with senior lecturer Dr Keith Kahn-Harris.
College principal Rabbi Dr Deborah Kahn-Harris said the money raised will help underpin the costs associated with its five-year rabbinic training programme.
She added: “The need for well-educated rabbis with heart is more important than it has ever been – rabbis, like Lionel Blue, who embrace change, lead by example and stand up for the values of Progressive Judaism.”
