Jowell endorsed by Jewish Labour Movement
by Justin Cohen
Tessa Jowell has received an overwhelming endorsement from the Jewish Labour Movement to become the party’s candidate for London mayor.
The former Olympics minister received 80 percent of the votes compared with ten percent for David Lammy and just five percent for Gareth Thomas.
JLM is one of numerous groups who will nominate their chosen candidate as part of the process to select a candidate to run for City Hall next May.
Following tonight’s meeting, JLM tweeted: “Mazeltov to Tessa Jowell on getting the support of our members.”
