Kisharon kids celebrate Lag B’Omer with barbecue at Tuffkid nursery
Feast marking the 33rd day of the Counting of the Omer with meal and warnings about the danger of fire
There was no playing with fire when Kisharon celebrated Lag B’Omer across all services.
Children were creative in an art class making their own bonfire collages at Kisharon Tuffkid Nursery at Brent Cross.
But teachers talked with them about the dangers of fire in preparation for their Tuffkid barbecue.
The event, staged by Kisharon supported living, was held in the nursery garden – children helped to prepare vegetable skewars that were part of the meal.
Earlier in the week pupils enjoyed an outing to Woodside Farm.
