Kisharon Langdon appoints new fundraising director
Newly merged learning disabilities and autism charity appoints community professional Adam Overlander-Kaye into pivotal role
Newly formed charitable entity Kisharon Langdon has appointed a new director of fundraising.
Adam Overlander-Kaye is a previous fundraising and community development director at Jewish Care, former chief executive at ORT UK and is currently serving as the director of development at the Institute for Jewish Policy Research (JPR).
Kisharon Langdon chief executive Richard Franklin said: “Following a rigorous selection process, Adam emerged as an excellent fit to lead our fundraising endeavours. We are confident that Adam’s leadership will support our fundraising efforts and contribute to the continued success of our organisation. I extend my sincere thanks to Carolyn Rozenberg and Jessica Levy for all they achieved during their time as co-directors of fundraising. They have played a material role in shaping our fundraising, and I look forward to Adam building upon their legacy.”
Overlander-Kaye said: “I understand the vital importance of the work carried out by Kisharon Langdon for so many people and their families. I eagerly anticipate playing my role in this exciting new chapter in the history of these merged and esteemed organisations.
“Kisharon Langdon undertakes profoundly significant work within our community, offering individuals the opportunity to fulfil their potential. I am immensely proud to be entrusted with the responsibility of nurturing existing donor relationships and forging new ones. Together, we will build upon the tireless efforts of our exceptional professional and voluntary team”.
Overlander Kaye’s appointment follows the recent appointments of Emily Haddock, as director of education and Michelle Janes as chief transformation officer (joining from the Jewish Leadership Council).
Franklin added: “That we are able to attract such calibre of talent it is a testament to their belief in Kisharon Langdon’s work and their own healthy ambition in helping us meet the considerable challenges ahead”.
