Lions U10 whites secure back-to-back league double
London Maccabi Lions U10 Whites secured a league & cup double on Sunday after they won the Watford Friendly League Cup.
Having already won the league by 12 points with one game to go, the side, managed by Nigel Burns and his asssitant Joel Philips, beat Harvesters North 1-0 in the final thanks to a goal from Joe Abrahams.
Burns said: “The boys played intelligent, passing football which was a joy to watch, and they now have a chance to complete the treble next week in the Challenge Cup Final, when they will face a very tough test from Belmont.
