Lord Sacks to discuss IS in ‘violence in the name of God’ event
Lord Jonathan Sacks has been lined up to talk about how militant Islamists perpetrate violence in the name of God.
The former chief rabbi will discuss groups such as Hamas and Islamic State, which is terrorising people in Iraq and Syria.
The talk will be on 20 October at Greenwood Theatre, Guy’s campus.
Organisers say Sacks, who is Professor of Law and Ethics at King’s College London, will “reflect on how we might challenge this situation and confront this violence”.
