Lord Winston to be keynote speaker at inaugural Teaching Judaism conference
Lord Winston is to headline the first ever conference for teachers of GCSE Religious Studies Judaism.
The one-day event will also see the Chief Rabbi speak, and various chief examiners lead workshops on new areas of syllabus, which will launch in 2018.
The London conference, which takes place on 22 February, will also feature Jewish charities and a taster of the Board’s Jewish Living Experience (JLE) exhibition of Jewish life in the 21stcentury,
The conference, which is being jointly run by the Board of Deputies and Partnerships for Jewish Schools, will offer inset training and national support for professional development.
