Masters football review – week 32
The final games of the Masters League were played on Sunday, writes Jeremy Silverstone.
Two fixtures in Division Two wrapped up the Masters League, while there were also three sides involved in the MMFL/MGBSFL Invitational Cup quarter-finals…

The final two games of the league season saw Lions complete an unbeaten league campaign as two goals from Simon Davidson, plus Simon Black’s strike gave them a 3-0 win over Hendon Harriers.
Glenthorne’s hope of finishing runners-up – which required them to win by any score – were dashed as they were beaten in a ten-goal thriller against Temple Fortune – losing 6-4. Rob Botkai and Dean Ingram scored two each, with James Ryan and Graham Meyer also on target.
