Protesters gather outside Friends Of Palestine dinner for Miliband speech
Supporters of Israel gathered outside a meeting of pro-Palestinian Labour MPs on Wednesday night, asking: “Will the real Ed Miliband please stand up.”
The demonstration took place near Parliament at the annual dinner for Labour Friends of Palestine and the Middle East (LFPME), where delegates came to hear the Labour leader speak.

Peers including Lord Palmer and Baroness Deech raised expectations beforehand.
Deech said that with Israel burying its dead as a result of Palestinian terrorism, “Mr Miliband needs to get it right this time”.
Activists from Sussex Friends of Israel and the Pro-Israel Response Group claim that LFPME has in the past advocated boycotts of Israeli settlement goods.
They pointed to a 2011 article on its website. Miliband has consistently opposed boycotts.
