A new headteacher has been appointed at the Wohl Campus, Kisharon Noé School in Hendon.

Dr Emily Haddock will start duties at the school from 1 June. She will work with current interim head, Sharon Mullish, until the end of the academic year to ensure a smooth handover, said the school.

Dr Haddock has previously been the executive headteacher of two residential SEND schools, which cater for children with special educational needs.

“I can’t wait to join Kisharon and get to know the young people, staff and families,” she said. “I am looking forward to sharing in the successes and the exciting plans we have for the future!”

The chair of trustees at the school, Emma Castleton, said that Kisharon Noé was “incredibly fortunate” to secure the appointment.

“We wish Emily every success in her new role. Her “Kisharon” – talent will enable us to bring out the talent in each and every one of our students”, she said.

The school, which is committed to a Jewish education ethos, caters for students with special educational needs of both genders aged 4 to 19.
