Rabbi Dweck joins Spanish and Portuguese congregation
The Spanish and Portuguese Jews’ Congregation has announced the arrival of Rabbi Joseph Dweck as senior rabbi of the congregation.
Elected to his position last year, Rabbi Dweck has spent the interim period in preparation for the full-time assumption of his responsibilities.
Dweck said: “[My wife] Margalit and I are grateful to the entire community for their care in welcoming us. Although based near Lauderdale Road, I look forward to spending quality time at Bevis Marks and Wembley as well, and working together across the wider Jewish community.”
Rabbi Dweck’s installation will take place in September.
