Norwood chief Elaine Kerr to stand down after six years
Jewish charity's CEO praised for her 'exemplary' leadership and 'enormous contribution' during her tenure
Norwood chief executive Elaine Kerr is to stand down at the end of May next year after more than six years heading the Jewish community’s largest charity.
Kerr’s leadership was described as “exemplary” this week as charity bosses relaxed into an “orderly” six-month transition to her successor, as yet unannounced.
Norwood chairman David Ereira said Kerr had made “an enormous contribution over the past six years” and that she was leaving a “solid, talented and committed team of directors with an exceptional team of heads of departments”.
Kerr said she was “proud to be leaving the organisation in good shape with a confirmed direction of travel over the next five years”.
