Norwood’s running man
Daniel Abrahams raised more than £5,000 for Norwood after completing last week’s New York Marathon in a time of 3:49:11.
He said: “What was a gruelling 26.2 miles, I’d set myself a target of breaking four hours, so was delighted to have finished under that time and raise a great sum of money for Norwood – particularly after a painful knee injury only a few weeks ago.
“The day was a truly fantastic event, with a reported 50,000 + runners and 2 million spectators. I think that I high-fived most of them! The weather was cold, but everything worked perfectly and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone that may be thinking of taking part.”
