Palestinian brandishing knife in Hebron shot dead by IDF
West Bank man, aser Fawzi al-Shweiki, 27, who ran at troops with a weapon was killed during attack
A Palestinian man who ran at Israeli soldiers brandishing a knife was shot dead in Hebron in the West Bank.
No soldiers were injured in the incident on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Israel Defence Forces.
The dead man was identified as Yaser Fawzi al-Shweiki, 27, of Hebron. The Associated Press reported that he worked in the city’s Islamic court.
Later on Tuesday, a Palestinian woman was arrested after she approached the same Israeli military post and was alleged to be carrying a knife.
