President Donald Trump a no-show at White House seder
The White House plays host to a seder on Monday night, but Donald Trump not in attendance
The Trump administration hosted a Passover seder at the White House on Monday, without the president in attendance.
Donald Trump didn’t participate in the Passover meal to mark the first night of the Jewish festival, and it is not known which members of his administration took part, according to the Times of Israel.
The seder, which reportedly took place in the Indian Treaty Room of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, included kosher meals for guests.
The guest list however has not been made public; but there are several Jewish members of the Trump administration staff.
It is not clear whether his Jewish daughter Ivanka, or son-in-law, Jared Kushner participated, despite Ivanka tweeting a Passover greeting during the time the ceremony was taking place.

The message says: “During #Passover, we reflect on the significance of the exodus from Egypt and celebrate the great freedoms we enjoy today! #ChagPesach“.
Holding a White House seder became a tradition during the Obama administration.
Barack Obama joined a seder organised by campaign staffers in Pennsylvania during the 2008 primary season, when he first ran for president.
As president, he made the White House seder a custom, inviting among others Jewish staffers and backers.
