President Shimon Peres Interview with Jewish News (2013)
The paper republishes its interview with Israel's former president following his passing aged 93
With the passing of Israeli statesman Shimon Peres, we dig into the archives, re-publishing our interview with the former president and prime minister of Israel from 2013.
News Editor of the paper Justin Cohen sat down with Shimon Peres in his Jerusalem office, Beit Hanassi whilst he was still serving as president.
Justin interviewed the now deceased former-president to mark the presentation of the Jewish News Lifetime Achievement Award, organised in association with the Board of Deputies and Jewish Leadership Council.
