Rabbinic Couple
Barnet Synagogue is looking for a full time Rabbinic couple/Rabbi to engage, inspire and enthuse our members.
Barnet Synagogue is a warm and welcoming traditional orthodox community in North West London/Herts of over 1000 people, within its own eruv. We are looking for a full time Rabbinic couple/Rabbi to engage, inspire and enthuse our members.
We are seeking a charismatic and inspirational Rabbinic couple/Rabbi to lead the community in our spiritual, halachic, educational, welfare and pastoral needs in a manner that is inspiring and exciting to people of all ages.
The position requires a modern approach to leadership and the abilities and personal attributes of the candidate(s) are as important to us as formal qualifications. Of course, the successful candidate will have an acceptable Rabbinical semicha.
The ideal candidate(s) will be both empathetic and intellectually stimulating. They must be able to connect with the diversity of observance within our community and willing to work hard to infuse Barnet with a sense of spirituality, engaging existing members and attracting new members.
This is an exciting opportunity and we will be delighted to hear from candidate(s) who believe they have the right skill set(s) to take on the role.
Closing date for receipt of applications – 4th January 2019
