A reality TV star is facing prosecution in the Inner London Crown Court this week for an alleged racist attack on two Jewish brothers at Euston Station.

Dawn Ward, who appeared in the Real Housewives of Cheshire and is married to the former Premier League footballer, Ashley Ward, is accused of a foul-mouthed attack  on Jake and Sam Jacobs at Euston in October 2019.

Prosecutor Gregory Wedge told the court that on the date in question, there had been cancelled trains and severe delays. The result was that Euston was packed with people trying to travel, among them the two brothers.

Wedge said: “Jake and Samuel Jacobs were querying with station staff what was going on with the cancelled trains”.

He said that Ward had been drinking that night, stating, “Ms Ward, in her drunken state, felt the need to come up to the Jacobs brothers and say ‘why do you lot always complain?’.”

The barrister went on that Ward told the brothers: “You Jewish c**t, why are you people always complaining? You fat p**ck”.

Though both men tried to ignore her, he said, she “persisted” and the incident “became a bit violent”.

“Ms Ward became aggressive towards them”, said the prosecutor. “She actually slapped Jake Jacobs across the face as well. The Jacobs brothers were quite upset by the incident and they called the police.”

Ward denies the allegations, claiming the conversation was “friendly” and that the alleged slap was “a playful tap on the face”. The trial continues.
