Record-breaking appeal to support Jewish digital education
Jewish Interactive has raised nearly £360,000 to support its provision of Jewish education resources.
Nearly £360,000 has been raised to support Jewish education after a successful appeal by Jewish Interactive, a provider of digital Jewish resources.
The organisation’s record-breaking New Year appeal, ‘Kids who love Ji love being Jewish,’ saw contributions from all over the world, including the US, Israel and the UK.
Jewish Interactive’s chief executive, Chana Kanzen, said: “This is the largest amount Ji has raised in any event or campaign to date and we are so proud of what we have achieved together.
“We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support, words of gratitude and generosity of all our donors who have used Ji over the challenging years we have been through.”
The organisation has been working with teachers to create a new platform for Jewish schools called Jigzi, which is due to launch next year.
It will soon also launch a new website, focusing on Israel education for 11-14 year-olds called Israel Bytes.
