The Rolling Stones to perform in Tel Aviv
The Rolling Stones are to perform in Tel Aviv in early June, with tickets starting at over £100 helping to pay the veteran rockers’ $4.5 million fee.
“This is a historic and very meaningful visit,” said promoter Shuki Weiss Weiss. “In these days when we hear calls for boycotts from around the world, it’s not taken for granted that a band of this magnitude will come to Israel.”
The long-awaited show at Park Hayarkon, scheduled for Wednesday 4 June at Park Hayarkon, was announced only days after Mick Jagger’s partner L’Wren Scott was found dead in her New York apartment.
