Sela handed tough Wimbledon opener
Dudi Sela has been handed a tough-looking first round draw at Wimbledon.
The 30-year-old is Israel’s only singles player at this Championships, and was drawn on Friday morning against the number 32 seed, Austrian, Dominic Thiem.
Should he get past Thiem, he would then face either Spaniard Fernando Verdasco or Slovakian Martin Klizan.
Israel’s other player at SW19 is Yoni Erlich, who will be playing in the men’s doubles competition alongside German Philipp Petzschner, they will face Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas and Italian Andreas Seppi.
