Sela suffers US Open exit
Dudi Sela’s US Open campaign ended in disappointing fashion on Friday when he suffered a straight sets defeat against Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov.
The 29-year-old, ranked No. 83 in the world, proved to be no match for the world’s number 7, as he was ruthlessly beaten 6-1, 6-2, 6-2 at Flushing Meadows in 89 minutes.
Sela now switches his attention to Israel’s Davis Cup tie against Argentina, which being played in Sunrise, Florida, commences on 12 September.
