Sela through to last eight of Wimbledon warm-up
Israeli reaches quarter-finals of ATP Challenger Event in Nottingham.
Dudi Sela’s first grass court competition of the season has seen him reach the last eight of the Nottingham Challenger Event.
Recording a straight-set 6-3, 6-4 win in 74 minutes against Lithuanian Ricardas Berankis on Wednesday morning, he will next take on either GB’s Lloyd Glasspool or Australian Marc Polmans for a place in the last four.
The Israeli is though also out of the doubles competition after he and Indian Yuki Bhambri were beaten 6-3,3-6 10-6 on a tiebreak.
