Service Manager – Family Support
Location: Jewish Family Centre
Salary: Dependant on Experience
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Reporting to: CEO and Board of Trustees
The Role:
To lead and manage the Family Support Service, delivering high-quality, safe, and effective support to children, young people, and families. The role includes oversight of a multidisciplinary team and responsibility for safeguarding, service delivery, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team
- Manage referrals, assessments, and case allocation
- Oversee Family Support and Contact Centre services
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection requirements
- Develop strong partnerships with schools, social care and community organisations
- Maintain oversight of complex cases and provide professional guidance
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
- Report to senior leadership and Board of Trustees as required

About You:
- Social Work qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ management
- Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge
- Experience working with children, young people, and families
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage complex cases and multidisciplinary teams
