Shechita activists celebrate failure of “misguided” labelling bid
Shechita activists have hailed the failure of a “misguided” European bid to have religiously-slaughtered meat labelled across the continent.
A move to debate the issue received only 46 signatures when 384 were required.
Shechita groups say the labelling of food is important but that the process should be even-handed.
