Stone wins gold at mini marathon
THIRTEEN-YEAR-old David Stone won the London Borough Challenge cup at Sunday’s mini marathon.
He finished first out of 240 runners in a time of 16:12 over the three-mile course, 28 seconds ahead of the runner-up, and sixth overall in the national event.
Having so far raised more than £1,100 for Emunah and Duchenne research, his achievement is even more astonishing given that he was in a wheelchair in June and on crutches in August.
You can still sponsor David via his Just Giving pages.
