In the latest round of Masters action, Raiders maintained top spot in Division One title, while there were two draws played in Division Two, writes Jeremy Silverstone…
DIVISION ONE:
North London Raiders maintained their lead at the top of the table with a 4-0 win over Scrabble Harmen, thanks to Kevin Lotzof’s double, and strikes from Darren Cohen and Richard Sacks.
Waldaf kept up their challenge with a 5-1 victory over HMH. Lloyd Becker scored twice, with Robbie Webber, Alex Bourne and Jeremy Leigh also on target. Lewis Cohen grabbed a consolation for HMH.
Faithfold and Chigwell earned themselves a point apiece as they drew 2-2. Anthony Jaff scored twice for Faithfold, Paul Gold and an own goal replied for Chigwell.
DIVISION TWO:
EDRS and Marshside couldn’t be separated with Marc Morris and Faramarz Moghim scoring respectively in a tight game of few chances.
It was a similar case between Glenthorne and Temple Fortune with the sides cancelling each other out in a 2-2 draw. Yali Mamouri and James Ryan scored for Fortune.
