Three teams in Division One maintained their 100 percent winning start to the season, while Lions made in 15 goals in two games in Division Two, to top the early table, writes Jeremy Silverstone…
DIVISION ONE:

Reigning champions North London Raiders edged past HMH thanks to a solitary Tony Plaskow goal.
Scrabble, however, put four past Faithfold without reply to top the table, but they had to wait until the final quarter to break the deadlock, with Andy Miller scoring from outside the box, then providing the through-ball that set up the first of Andrew Binstock’s hat-trick.
Top scorers in the top flight were Chigwell, who saw off the challenge from Brady A despite being 3-1 down, with Shrayer Shapiro, Adam Gishen and Mark Wagman netting for Brady. But Chigwell fought back, with Jaimie Sinclair and Mark Conway both grabbing trebles to give Chigwell a well-earned 6-3 victory.
DIVISION TWO:

Lions followed up last week’s 8-0 win with a 7-1 routing of Brady B, thanks to two goals each from Danny Schindler and Michael Abraham, coupled with strikes from Darren Coon, Simon Davidson and David Price. Brady did at least notch up a consolation with Malcolm Hershman curling in a Goal of the Season contender with a 25-yard free kick.
Marshside won their battle with Glenthorne 4-1 thanks to goals from Sacha Alter, scoring twice on his debut, a long-range effort from player-manager Barry Silkman and a late strike from Graham Meyer. Paul van Gelder scored Glenthorne’s sole response.
EDRS recorded their first win, running out 5-3 winners against Hendon Harriers. Ian Sumray’s double and Richard Morris scored for Harriers, but goals from Martin Seifert, Tony Platman and a rare hat-trick from Nigel Conway ensured that EDRS secured the points.
