Sunday Masters review – week 8
Brady A extended their lead in Division One, while there are new table-toppers in Division Two, writes Jeremy Silverstone…
DIVISION ONE:
A solitary goal from Tony Plaskow gave North London Raiders a 1-0 win over nearest rivals Brady A to maintain their perfect start to the season and extend their lead at the top of the table.
Meanwhile, despite being 1-0 ahead at the interval through Neil Gallagher’s goal,
Chigwell eventually succumbed to Waldaf Town, for whom late goals from Lloyd Becker and Alex Bourne secured a 2-1 win.
DIVISION TWO:
The one game in the division saw goals from Danny Goldman and Darren Coon give Lions a 2-0 win over Glenthorne United, taking them to the top of the table for the first time this season.
