FIXTURES & RESULTS
There were big wins for all the top four teams, with two of the leading title contenders reaching double figures, as Glenthorne A beat stablemates Glenthorne B 10-0, whilst Lions thrashed Temple Fortune 10-1.
Glenthorne A’s goal feast was led by four goals from Gary Adams and a hat-trick from Greg Morris. David Michaels, David Simmons and an own goal completed the rout
And despite taking a 1-0 lead over Lions through James Ryan’s first half goal, Temple Fortune eventually capitulated. Darren Coon and Stuart Coutts scored two each, with Darren Young, Marc Morris, Simon Barr, Simon Black, Laurence Leigh and David Price also all on target.
Meanwhile doubles from Russell Rich and Jon Homan, along with Marc Schneiderman’s strike saw EDRS home to a 5-1 win over Marshside. Barry White netted Marshside’s consolation – his first ever goal in Masters’ football.
Brady B recorded a 7-3 win over St John’s Wood Tigers. Scott Ansher led the way on the goalscoring front, scoring four times, with Marc Herman, Martin Schultz and Lenny Klein also on target. Perry Somers, Ashley Davidson and Eric Elbaz replied for Tigers.
